Terms and Conditions for the Drink Specials Application

By submitting your e-mail address and password for an account with the Drink Special Application for iPhone, we (Great Time Apps LLC) will grant your account certain default rights to add information to the existing drink special and bar information presented in this application.

We believe the overwhelming majority of users are intending to use the application to find great drink specials and share that information with others.  They want to have accurate and plentiful data for the many cities and bars that cover many specials.  We want to be clear that we encourage this constant addition and revision of the data that is in the directory, but also want to make sure we are clear on our expectation and opposition for those who wish to vandalize it or delete relevant information for other users.

We have put default limits on the amount of changes you can make to the database to prevent fraudulent and incorrect entries.  These limits are at our sole discretion.  If you routinely hit these limits, we will impose a tighter restriction on your ability to participate in making changes to the database.  If you feel this is in error, please contact support{at}drinkspecialsapp.com and we will check our records.

Additionally if you are interested in having your limits increased from the default, please read about our Drink Specials City Ambassadors Program.  We’re happy to have people who continuously update and correct the data to the benefit of all users have the right to continue to do so.

We want you to know that by submitting this information, you are giving the rights to the information to Great Time Apps for our use in the application and that other users may update or adjust the information.

We do our best ensure high quality data from our users, but it is presented in an as-is form, and should be independently verified.  It makes no claim to accuracy and the bar need not honor specials listed in the app if they are not accurate.

We will never change the way you view specials, which is the intended purpose of the application.  You may always view specials, filter and change locations.  Those are not restrictions we can or will impose.  All restrictions are around engaging with the data.

We do this to protect the data entered by other users in the interest of maintaining the largest, highest quality collection of drink special information possible.
